The Clanree is about 15 minutes’ walk from Letterkenny’s town centre. Rooms are large, with satellite TV and tea and coffee things, and there’s an outdoor terrace.

The leisure club has a 20-metre pool, children’s pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and gym. Aileach Restaurant serves à la carte and early-bird menus, and McGettigan’s Bar has live music most weekends. Glenveagh and the Grianán of Aileach are about 25 minutes away.
