A small collection of places to stay for two, about an hour west of Cork city near Skibbereen: restored courtyard cottages and a barn at Grove House, three treehouses, Newbridge Cottage with its own home cinema, and three river lodges.

Every cottage and treehouse, and River Lodge 1, has its own hot tub. Courtyard Cottage 2 and The Barn add an indoor jacuzzi suite. Cottages start from €179 a night and treehouses and river lodges from €199, based on a two-night stay; one-night stays cost €50 more.
